All prospective members will be required to participate in 6 Intro to IGP training sessions consecutively. During that time your do will be evaluated as prospect for the sport.
What will you be evaluated on?
- Temperament of your dog.
- Relationship between handler and dog.
- The dog’s drive and desire to work.
- Trainability.
- Protective instincts.
- Strength, Agility and scent ability.
Remember there are three phases of IGP. Tracking, Obedience and Protection and your dog will be evaluated in all three areas. Once your evaluation is complete you will be notified of your dogs abilities.
Evaluations are by appointment only.
Please be advised that evaluations are not to offend or hurt anyone’s feelings. You will be given an honest opinion of your dogs potential.
